UPDATE:  WE HAVE PUPPIES!  Ten beautiful and healthy black and yellow puppies were born April 3rd!  As of April 24, we have 3 yellow males available.

After careful consideration, Dolly has been bred to Poncho.  Black and yellow Labrador Retriever puppies are expected April 3 and will be ready for their new homes on May 22. 

UPDATE:  Great News!  Poncho just got a second in the Amateur, at the Chesapeake trial, giving him his AFC title!  

AFC Buck N Poncho is a handsome, athletic, reddish-yellow 4 year old, line-bred on FC AFC Ornbaun's Buckwheat MH.  He weighs 80-85 pounds.  Both Poncho's father and mother have their Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion titles.

Poncho is currently campaigning on the west coast in AKC retriever field trials.  Poncho just earned his AFC title!

Poncho has OFA "Good" hips (LR-175809G25M-NOPI), "Normal" elbows (LR-EL39795M25-NOPI), and is both EIC (LR-EIC418/32M-VPI) and CNM (LR-CNM09-520-M-PIV) clear.  Poncho's eyes are cleared by CERF (LR-53991 '10). 

Kerryburke's California Dolly MH (Dolly) weighs about 60 pounds.  Dolly has her AKC Master Hunter title.  She is also Qualified All-Age. She placed second in the Qualifying and third in the Derby in the same weekend at 16 months old.  She has a Qualifying win as well as other placements and JAM's (Judges' Award of Merit).  She has 32 Derby points and is ranked #9 on the 2007 National Derby List.

Dolly finished 18 of 19 Derbies and 7 of 8 Qualifyings.  Her success and consistency in the minor stakes is a tribute to her natural marking ability and trainability.

Dolly earned her Master Hunter title before she turned 3 years old.  Although we didn't qualify her and enter, she was a test dog for the 2010 Master National in Corning, CA.  She did an outstanding job and we both thoroughly enjoyed the event! 

Dolly has OFA "Good" hips (LR-168843G25F-PI).  Her elbows are "Normal" (LR-EL35759F25-PI).  Her eyes are clear (CERF LR-49103 '11).  She is EIC clear and a CNM carrier.

Dolly is calm and quiet while on the running line or in the hunting blind.  She has a sweet temperament.  She is an absolute joy to both live and hunt with! 

Dolly excels at upland game hunting.  She is fast and deliberate, and quarters, naturally, in the pheasant field.  She is a team player.  She tolerates heat well and has incredible endurance.  She runs as hard at the end as at the beginning of the hunt.  While dove hunting, she sits patiently at your side, and focuses on the birds.

While duck hunting, Dolly is quiet and patient.  She lays down and watches the sky.  She marks the falls, well, and waits to be sent for the retrieve.  She hunts hard for cripples.  Works the cover and digs out the birds.  Again, she is such a pleasant dog to have in your blind!
